The Senator’s reference (PL-RJ) to the arrest of South African Nelson Mandela, commenting on the Federal Police’s action against his father, is inconsistent with the vision that much of the right has the Nobel Peace, which is often called by conservatives of communist and terrorist.
One of Mandela’s leading critics was the philosopher, a kind of intellectual guru of pockets, killed in 2022. He used to say that the South African was an opportunist, who dressed the costume of progressive and liberator of his people, but was linked to the American plutocracy, especially to the Rockfeller family.
On the Brazilian right, Mandela also pays the price for her association with Lula and the PT. The president has always considered South African an ally and has been with him several times since the 1990s.
