The licensed deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) denied that there was any supply of political asylum from the United States to Jair Bolsonaro (PL). The statement was made during an interview with CNN Arenain response to rumors that circulated on a possible articulation to protect Jair Bolsonaro.

“I never heard such a conversation, I never learned of any conversation like this,” said Eduardo Bolsonaro, contesting information that would have been released by some news agencies.

The licensed federal deputy reported that, during his visit to the White House, a person outside the institution even suggested the possibility of seeking a specific agreement for Jair Bolsonaro. Eduardo said he promptly rejected the suggestion.

“Not a political crisis,” Eduardo said, adding that he did not maintain any conversation with representatives of the State Department, the White House or the US National Congress on this subject.

Eduardo Bolsonaro emphasized that he does not seek individual agreements and disputed information about attempts at exile or political asylum. The deputy challenged that sources are presented that prove such allegations about political asylum offers by the US government.
