Of course, it’s about root systems that can reach many meters and destroy various elements of the house or garden step by step. So let’s know what we should pay attention to. Unfortunately, his root system is growing at the same pace. If we plant it too close to the building structure, they can create a threat to our walls, fences, paving slabs or terraces.

The second of the dangerous trees is Jesion haughtyor Fraxinus Excelsior. Unlike a cypress, it grows much slower, but it can reach a height of up to 30 meters. Such an impressive tree must have an extensive and strong root system. Hair ash roots are so strongly looking for water that sewage systems located near it are exposed to attack. Fraxinus Excelsior can be responsible for hubs in garden sewage systems and even damage to foundations.
Another of the dangerous trees is red maple (Acer Rubrum). Many people decide to plant it in the garden, because they are considered one of the most beautiful autumn decorative trees. However, its root system is extremely invasive – it can cause deformations of pavements, cracking of terrace tiles or damage to the surface. What’s more, the roots of the red maple can contribute to rotting of drains or pollution of gutters.

What’s more, research on Salix Alba indicates that its root system easily penetrates drainage and concrete, which means that it can cause huge problems in home gardens.
