Acre Governor Gladson Camelí said that the 50th edition of Expoacre, which takes place in Rio Branco between July 26 and August 3, should break financial movement records, reaching values near R $ 600 million in business. The projection was made during the official launch of the event, which brought together authorities and representatives of the business class in the Wildy Viana Exhibition Park.

“I have no doubt of the success that will be. Rio Branco will receive a historic edition of Expoacre, and we are working with an estimate of moving up to R $ 600 million in business,” said Cameli, highlighting the importance of the partnership between government, private initiative and press for the promotion of the event.

The governor also recalled the significant result recently obtained at Expoacre Juruá, in Cruzeiro do Sul, where nearly R $ 50 million were moved, exceeding the previous year’s figures more than ten times. “What we saw in Cruzeiro do Sul was a record. Last year, the businesses revolved around $ 3 million and now jumped to almost $ 50 million,” he said.
Cameli reinforced the strategic role of Expoacre as the state’s economic showcase and defended the need to appreciate local production. “The infrastructure is ready. Now it’s time to produce, generate jobs, create opportunities. Less government, more private initiative,” he said.
