One of Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawsuits requested on Sunday that the United States Department of Justice releases additional records of his sexual trafficking investigation and urged the government to grant immunity to Epstein’s ex-girlfriend so that she can witness to crimes.
In an interview with Fox News Sunday, Alan Dershowitz said the transcriptions of the great jury that Attorney General Pam Bondi asked a federal judge on Friday to release they would not contain the types of information that President Donald Trump’s supporters are looking for, such as Epstein’s client names.
“I think the judge should release them, but they are not in the great jury transcriptions,” Dershowitz said at Fox.

“I saw some of these materials. For example, there is an FBI report about interviews with alleged victims in which at least one of the victims cites very important people,” he said, adding that these names were suppressed.

Earlier this year, Bondi promised that the department would disclose additional materials, including “many names” and “many flight records.”
The department turned back in this promise earlier this month, after releasing a joint member with the FBI that played cold water on Epstein longtime conspiracy theories, saying that there was no “incriminating customer list” or any blackmail evidence.

The memorandum also supported a previous FBI investigation that concluded that Epstein died for suicide and was not murdered in his cell.
Bondi and FBI director Kash Patel have faced a growing reaction from Trump’s supporters since the publication of the memorandum, which led Trump to order last week for the department to request a court to release the transcriptions of the great case of the Epstein case.
On Friday, the US government presented a motion at a federal court of Manhattan to release the great jury transcriptions in cases of Epstein and former Associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Dershowitz said on Sunday to the “Fox News Sunday” program that the information Bondi did not ask them to be revealed would be “much more informative and much more relevant.”
He added that the government should also grant Maxwell immunity so that she could witness to Congress about her knowledge of Epstein’s alleged crimes.

“She knows everything. She’s the rosette stone,” he said about Maxwell.
“If it was granted immunity of use, it could be required to witness.”
