Zelensky said this Saturday (19.Jul) that he suggested to Moscow conversations next week; would be the 3rd meeting this year between Russian and Ukrainian representatives
The president of Ukraine, (servant of the people, center), announced this Saturday (19.Jul.2025) that Kiev sent to Russia a proposal for a new round of peace negotiations next week.
In a video on his X profile, the Ukrainian leader stated that the proposal was sent to Kremlin by Ukraine’s Secretary of Defense and National Security Council, – which led the country’s delegation in the last 2 meetings between Kiev and Moscow representatives.

Zelensky declared to be needed “Accelerate the pace of negotiations”paralyzed since June 2, date of conversations between the 2 countries. He reiterated that he was willing to meet personally with the Russian President ,.
“A leadership meeting is necessary to truly guarantee peace, a lasting peace”said the Ukrainian President.
Russia had not spoken out about the proposal until the publication of this report.
If confirmed, this will be the 3rd meeting between the 2 countries in 2025. In the last round, held in Istanbul (Türkiye), the Russians presented a memorandum with strict demands. Among the points, they asked Ukraine to give additional territories and reject all kinds of military support from the West. Kiev classified the terms as “Unacceptable”.
At the time, the countries left the negotiating table only with one of prisoners, executed in 5 stages in recent weeks.
Last Monday (14.Jul), the US President (Republican Party), 100% tariffs against Russia if there is no ceasefire in 50 days.
On Thursday (17.Jul), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia stated that “You will not accept blackmail” de Washington.
