Washington-US President Donald Trump is urging the NFL team Washington Commanders to accept his old name again. “The Washington ‘whatever’ should immediately back up its name in Washington Redskin’s Football Team,” wrote the Republican on his platform Truth Social. Years ago, the football team separated from his name Redskins (redskins) after criticism from American indigenous people and has been called Commanders since 2022.
