The Brazilian population is divided over the project that is being processed in.
According to a QUESTE survey conducted July 10 and 14, 49% of respondents are against the mechanism, instituted by a constitutional amendment in 1997.
Another 45% are favorable, which puts the two tied groups on the edge of the margin of error, which is two percentage points. Another 6% could not answer. 2,004 people were heard by the Institute.
The survey shows that the tie situation on the subject remains between Lulisto voters and pockets.
The highest rejection of reelection occurs among men (53%), voters from 16 to 34 years old (50%), people with complete high school (51%) and monthly income greater than five minimum wages (56%).
There is also a slight preference for the end of the possibility of a new consecutive mandate among those who disapprove of the Lula government (50%, as opposed to 44% favorable to maintain the current situation).
The survey also showed that 49% of respondents know A, against 48% who are not informed, also a technical draw situation.
