The economic team is preparing a contingency plan to mitigate the impacts of rate 50% over Brazilian companies, said the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddadin an interview with Radio CBN this Monday (21).
According to the head of the portfolio, the government is already working with the possibility of having to implement a support program for entrepreneurs. The minister said that not necessarily the help to entrepreneurs will imply an increase in primary spending, given the government’s effort to dry spending.
Haddad said the economic team prepares answers to “all scenarios”, including the implementation of the 50% fare on Brazilian products from August 1.
