Iran has accused the United Kingdom, France and Germany not respecting the Iranian nuclear agreement signed in 2015 by threatening to impose sanctions on Tehran, agency Agency France-Presse (AFP) reports.
In 2015, the United Kingdom, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germans pledged to relieve sanctions to the Iranian regime in exchange for restrictions on their uranium enrichment program. In 2018, Trump undertakes the agreement when withdrawing unilaterally and imposing severe sanctions, but the Europeans promised to support him and compensate for the penalties imposed by Washington.
“The European parts have been guilty and negligent in the application” of the nuclear agreement, the spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baqaei has denounced.
