In video, the son of Jair Bolsonaro, who is licensed to the role until this Sunday, has again said that he is being chased and makes harsh criticism of the STF minister, Alexandre de Moraes
(PL-SP) talked about the plans he has in relation to his federal deputy mandate in Live published on his YouTube channel on Sunday afternoon (20). “Right away, I advance to you: I won’t do any kind of resignation. If I want to, I can take my term at least for the next three months,” he said. “The system is chasing me because of my work. If you ever have a doubt: ‘Wow, who is this beautiful child there who is canceling visa as the Supreme Court Minister?’ It is from Eduardo Bolsonaro. Therefore they are angry coming after me, ”he said, referring to the revocation of STF ministers visas by the United States. In the video, the son, who is licensed to the function until this Sunday, said that he is being chased and makes harsh criticism of the minister of besides his colleagues Flávio Dino and Luís Roberto Barroso.
On Saturday (19), Moraes stated that Eduardo would have intensified illicit conduct after a series of restrictive measures to his father, Jair Bolsonaro – such as the use of electronic anklet for monitoring and prohibition of use of social networks and communication with other investigators. Eduardo suggested that it would be “humiliation” and asked the United States government to “send a response” to that. Bolsonaro’s license officially arrives at the end on Sunday. It must be automatically reappointed to office, but in the United States, it should not attend parliamentary sessions and may therefore lose its mandate ahead.
Eduardo Bolsonaro asked for a license of office as a federal deputy on March 18, 2025. At the time, he requested 122 days: two for health treatment and 120 for particular reasons. In an interview, he justified: “I will license without remuneration so that I can dedicate myself fully and seek sanctions from human rights violators. Here, I can focus on seeking fair punishments that Alexandre de Moraes and their Federal Police gestapo deserve”. His place was assumed by alternate José Olímpio (PL-SP).
Currently, according to Article 235 of Chapter III of the Internal Regulations of the Chamber of Deputies, a parliamentarian may obtain license to “treat, without remuneration, of private interest, provided that the removal does not exceed one hundred and twenty days per legislative session”. A federal deputy has only declared his vacancy in three cases: death, resignation or loss of mandate. Article 240 points out that the mandate loses those who “fail to appear, in each ordinary legislative session, to the third of the Extraordinary Sessions of the Chamber, except for permitted license or authorized mission”.
