The Minister of the Federal Supreme Court ordered the house arrest of the suspect to intermediate a decisions selling scheme in the (Superior Court of Justice).
Andreson, who was in a federal prison in Brasilia, will go to his residence in Primavera do Leste, in the interior of Mato Grosso.
Zanin gave the decision after a positive opinion from the (Attorney General’s Office) for the departure of the lobbyist from the Federal Prison, due to his health.
Andreson was transferred to Brasilia on March 11, by decision of the minister, on the argument of guaranteeing his safety.
His defense, at the time commanded by lawyer Huendel Rolim, was already asking for the transfer and presented opinions about his health and stating that he needed special care.
The operation that investigates the STJ, called Sisamnes, aims to “investigate crimes of criminal organization, exploration of prestige and violation of functional confidentiality”. According to police, the targets “requested values to benefit parties in legal proceedings, through decisions favorable to their interests.”
The PF also investigates confidential information leakage negotiations, including details of police operations. STJ employees are investigated, but there is no investigation over ministers.
