Palmeiras won again in Brasileirão this Sunday (20) by overcoming Atletico-MG 3-2, at Allianz Parque, for the 15th round.
Abel Ferreira’s team, who came from a draw against Mirassol, was consolidated in the G4, now with 26 points. The rooster, on the other hand, parks at 20 points and remains outside the classification zone for Libertadores.
It started by pressing from the initial whistle and, after insisting a lot, opened the scoring after 32 minutes. Piquerez took a corner kick in the first post, and Lucas Evangelista deflected his head to make 1-0.
The advantage, however, was short lived. At 41, Hulk tied with a great goal at the angle, with no chance for Weverton. Even with little offensive presence, he managed to hold the draw until the break.
In the second half, he resumed him in front after five minutes. Piquerez crossed from the left, Vitor Roque tried to finish, but the ball deflected in Junior Alonso and died in the bottom of the nets: 2 to 1.
At 31, Vitor Roque appeared again, this time as a waiter. He won in the Romulus race and served Facundo Torres, which rolled to Maurício to expand to 3 to 1.
Verdon controlled the game well until Hulk, again in a free kick, discounted Rooster at 45. The ball deflected halfway and deceived Weverton.
In the last move of the match, Hulk almost got the turn by getting a powerful foul from the angle. However, this time, goalkeeper Weverton flew well on the ball to spread and thus let the game end in 3-2 to the delight of the Palmeirense fans at Allianz Parque.
