Georgi Donczew starred in a violent accident last Sunday in the second race of GT World Challenge Europe in Misano, Italy. The Bulgarian pilot lost control of his Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo 2 after a slight contact with Darren Leung’s BMW, eventually packing in the metal barriers violently.
The impact was so strong that the car was consumed by a fireball, creating moments of tension on the track. Despite the apparatus, Donczew managed to get out unharmed and by his own foot, already in the escape zone, even before the car suffers a second slight collision of another competitor.
Darren Leung, involved in the incident, lamented what happened: “It’s horrible to see a pilot wrapped in flames. Fortunately, it came out fast and okay. It was a minimal contact with huge consequences.”
Red flag 🔴 A huge accident for the Grasser Lamborghini.
Fortunately, driver Georgi Donczew is out of the car immediately.
