The government’s approach: instead of accessing with traditional oppositions, those positions would be entered first through institutes and schools of the administration, where a specific two -year master would be taken. To access that master’s degree, there would be an access test, which would only exceed a part of the applicants. The best notes would take these studies for two years and in the end they would do another exam, which would decide who obtains the places as officials.
What positions affect exactly? From the offer, categories A1 and A2 have been disaggregated in the following tables. With the approach communicated by the Ministry, access to these professions will change in the future. These tables also specify how many positions were offered in the text that has just published the Official State Gazette (BOE).
“Applicants who do not obtain the status of career official personnel, but who have overcome the training process may obtain a postgraduate degree officially, in the case of aspiring subgroups A1 and A2,” the ministry details.
This is a plan in a very initial phase: the ministry does not detail if it applies only to the state administration or all, if the candidates who do not get a place will have to do the course again, when it would come into force, what concrete matters will be taught or where the studies would be developed. It has specified that there will be a scholarship system for applicants with less resources.
