London (Reuters)-The United Kingdom and more than 20 other countries asked for the immediate end of the war in Gaza and criticized the Israeli government’s help distribution model after hundreds of Palestinians were killed near food distribution sites.
France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, Denmark and other countries said that more than 800 Palestinians were killed as they sought help and condemned what they called “dripping help and inhuman civilian murder.”
Most of the dead were near the places of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which the United States and Israel supported to assume the distribution of Gaza’s help from a UN -led network.
“The Israeli government’s help distribution model is dangerous, feeds instability and deprives the inhabitants of Gaza of human dignity,” said the ministers of the countries of the countries in a joint statement.
The call for the end of the war and the way Israel provides help comes from several allied countries of Israel and its most important supporter, the United States.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation uses private US security and logistics companies to bring Gaza supplies, largely a UN -led system that Israel claims to have allowed Hamas militants to plunder aid loads for civilians. Hamas denies the accusation.
The UN considers the insecure GHF model and a violation of humanitarian impartiality standards, which GHF denies.
