In a video published on Sunday (20.Jul), deputy states that STF saw Bolsonaro’s “distance learning stroke” and that Moraes has “superpowers”
The deputy (PL-MG) said this Sunday (20.Jul.2025) that Brazil does not live a democracy. In a video published on his social networks, the congressman held responsible Minister Alexandre de Moraes, from the Supreme Court (STF), for “Unbalancar” the country’s government system.
The statement was made after the deputy was charged by allies of (PL) to comment on the minister’s recent decisions.
Allies wanted Nikolas to comment on Moraes’ decision that determined the use of an anklet by Bolsonaro and forbade him to use social networks, maintain contact with foreign diplomats and communicate with his son Eduardo Bolsonaro, who is in the United States.
Commenting on the investigation into the attempted coup d’état, Nikolas suggested that Bolsonaro is being charged with “Try to scam the United States in EAD”in reference to the fact that the former president was outside Brazil during the acts of January 8, 2023.
The congressman compared those imposed by Moraes on Friday (18.Jul) on other crimes. He said that the obligations determined by the minister are disproportionate.
“Does anyone who stole the INSS who have been billions are wearing an electronic anklet? Have you ever seen any traffickers, rapist, someone who stole billions in the state -owned companies being unable to talk to their own son?”questioned.

Nikolas also associated the precautionary measures imposed on Bolsonaro with the relationship with Donald Trump, noting that Moraes’s decision came a day after the former US president sent a support to the Brazilian ally.
The deputy also criticized the president’s performance (PT) in negotiations with the United States about commercials.
“Brazil is giving an example of how not to be diplomatic, because I don’t know if you know, but the US is not an economy you can say: ‘Oh, I want to know? I don’t want to see you.’ Before the campaign, Lula said that with a beer and a bar conversation would solve a war, and now he is not able to solve a tariff issue.”he declared.
