You want to prepare Delicious cucumber sauce? Try the recipe below that will not be difficult for you. Although you can store the ready dip in the fridge for later, it fits so many dishes and is so delicious that you will definitely use it quickly.
Cucumber sauce is a tasty variant of the classic garlic sauce. It can be served as a vegetable dip, for example, cut into carrot or celery twigs cut into bars, which are worth serving the family to the evening screening in front of the TV instead of chips. Cucumber sauce also fits grilled dishes. It can also be used for salads and various casseroles. You can prepare it a little more for supply and store it in the fridge for several days.
Ingredients:
- 2 ground cucumbers
- 250 ml of thick natural yogurt
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of chopped chives
- juice from ½ lemon
- A pinch of sugar
- Salt, white pepper (to taste)
- parsley branches (for decoration)
Method of performance:
Peel the cucumbers and grate on a medium mesh. Salt and set aside for 15 minutes. After this time, squeeze excess juice from the cucumbers.
Combine yogurt with mayonnaise. Add garlic, chives and lemon juice squeezed through Prague. Combine the sauce with cucumbers and mix thoroughly. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.
Put the cucumber sauce for at least half an hour in the fridge. Before serving, you can decorate it with fresh parsley leaves or other greens.
