Lawyer Ricardo Scheiffer Fernandes, who defends former presidential advisor Filipe Martins, one of the defendants in the trial of the alleged coup plot, says that there was an attempt to intimidate by one of the auxiliary judges of () on Monday (21). He says he will make a complaint against Judge Rafael Henrique to the National Council of Justice.

The case occurred during the testimony of the delegate Fábio Shoor as a witness indicated by Martins.

One of the objectives of the former advisor’s lawyers is trying to demonstrate that he did not travel to the US at the end of the former president’s term in 2022.

Asking Shoor if he had talked about the topic with Adriano Oliveira Camargo, a PF connection officer in the US, on the subject, was interrupted by the magistrate, who took the testimony in place of Moraes.

The Auxiliary Judge of Moraes said that he knew the officer and was a friend of his brother, also a magistrate, in a tone considered intimidating for the defense.

“We saw in this an improper interference of the judge in the right of defense to ask questions,” said Fernandes.
