Since Friday, Moraes has applied precautionary measures against Bolsonaro-such as the use of an electronic anklet or the prohibition of posting on the networks-due to evidence that the former president tries to disrupt the process in which he is defendant for attempted coup.
Earlier this Monday, Moraes stressed that the ban is also valid for third party accounts in the networks.
But a few hours later, Bolsonaro made an act with allies in the House, and records of the event went to the internet.
The minister warned that if the defense does not properly justify the conduct, it may decrease the former president’s immediate arrest.
In the decision, Moraes cites videos published on social networks where Bolsonaro appears showing the electronic anklet and giving speech. According to the minister, it constitutes a violation of the measures imposed by him.
“The precautionary measure of prohibition of use of social networks obviously includes transmissions, relay or report of audios, videos or interview transcriptions in any of the platforms, including third parties,” Moraes wrote.
At the act of Congress, Bolsonaro showed the electronic anklet, which he called “maxim also said that“ it didn’t kill anyone ”to deserve the measure.
“I did not steal the public coffers, I did not divert public appeal, I did not kill anyone, I did not trad anyone. This is a symbol of the maximum humiliation in our country. An innocent person. Cowardy what they are doing with a former President of the Republic. We will face everything and everyone. What counts to me is the law of God,” said the president.
The video of this moment was published in an Instagram account identified as “support” by Deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), Bolsonaro’s ally.
