Jair Bolsonaro’s visit to the House of Representatives on the afternoon of Monday (21) ended in turmoil. The confusion occurred at the moment the former president left a room crowded by allies, where he had met with parliamentarians. During the departure, there was push-shame between deputies, advisors and security guards, which generated a climate of tension in the halls of the house.

One of those involved in chaos was the federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), who, according to videos published on social networks, was hit in the face. “They hit me. It’s bleeding,” he said while showing the injury. His office confirmed to the Terra portal that he was injured by an object, possibly a microphone or cell phone, but is doing well.
The confusion accentuated the tension between Bolsonaro supporters and others present in the House. Despite the incident, there was no need for more serious medical care, and the situation was quickly contained by the house’s security guards. To date, the presidency of the house has not officially commented on what happened.
