Tasty, cheap and simple – this is the pudding that has gone into oblivion by a wide selection of sweets in stores. Unlike them, it does not contain preservatives and artificial additives. So let’s spend a few minutes to make a healthy dessert. Check a simple recipe for a home -made snack.
To make homemade pudding, we use ingredients that probably each of us already has in their kitchen. However, if not, we will find them in every store. The recipe has been slightly modernized so that it came out the best.
Homemade pudding is not only delicious, but also healthy. Milk is a source of calcium. It also provides magnesium and B vitamins. On the other hand, yolk contains lutein and beta-carotene to improve eyesight and immunity.
What ingredients do we need to make this delicacy from the PRL? Here is the exact list:
- 150 g mleka;
- 10 g of potato starch;
- 10 g cukru;
- 5 g butter 83 percent;
- 1 yolk;
- Optional: a bit of vanilla aroma.
Sugar can be replaced with another, healthier sweetener, i.e. xylitol, erythritol or sweetener without calories.
To make a homemade pudding, at the beginning we put yolk, butter, sweetener and vanilla aroma in a pot. Pour half the milk to these ingredients, and add potato starch to its rest and mix it to get rid of lumps.
Then we deal with ingredients in a pot. For this purpose, we begin to heat them on medium heat, stirring constantly with a whisk – a homogeneous mass must be formed.
When it starts to boil slightly, we reduce the fire a bit and add a thin starch milk with a thin starch. We do not stop mixing the whole. All ingredients must combine.
When this happens, then we increase the fire and cook the pudding until it thickens. Sometimes you will have to stir it again if you still notice lumps.
We can eat pudding prepared in this way. It is worth diversifying its taste, adding raspberry juice or adding your favorite fruit. It can also be used for cakes with pudding filling.
