Died on Tuesday (07/22), at the age of 76, musician Ozzy Osbourne. In addition to an expressive solo career, Ozzy was known to be a lead singer of the legendary Black Sabbath band, considered one of the founders of Heavy Metal.
“It’s more sadly than mere words can express that we have to inform that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne died this morning.” He was with his family surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this time – wrote the Osbourne family in an official statement.
The cause of death was not disclosed. In recent years, however, Ozzy had been suffering from various health problems, including a 2020 Parkinson diagnosis.
Ozzy was a native of Marston Green, but it was in Birmingham, where he grew up, who met his future bandmates, which would become Black Sabbath. In addition to being the national city of one of the most influential bands of all time, the place houses the teams Birmingham City and Aston Villa.

Ozzy could not be a football fanatic to attend stadiums, but there are reports that the singer, alongside Geezer Butler, bassist of Black Sabbath, was a fan of Aston Villa. The pair even participated in the launching action of Last season’s Villa shirt.
