Watering pot plants during our vacation can be problematic, because the neighbor is not always able to help us and take care of the plants in our home in our absence. And while there are plants like Zamiokulkas or a cactus, which does not need too abundant irrigation and will easily survive the period of dryness, for example, the winged flower’s wing is raised quickly. How to take care of the wingworm in such a situation when we are not at home for a longer period? In social media I found a brilliant trick during the trip. And it worked great for my plants this year – saved my winged flower before drying. Just before going on vacation, I put a bag of water in the pot of my wingworm. How to do it?

It is a plant that likes moist but not wet ground. Ensuring adequate hydration to the plant is particularly important in the spring and summer. Then it is worth watering the wingworm once a week. And how to do it when we are not at home for a long time? On Instagram on the @Domowy_blask profile I found a way that I tried. You need a string bag that fill with water and close tightly. Then make a tiny puncture in the bag and put it in the winged flower pot just before going on vacation. The water will gradually flow to the ground, thanks to which the winged flower is constantly irrigated and will not wither. This method of watering can also be used for other plants that we have at home.
