The PT leader in the House, Deputy (RJ), asked on Tuesday (22) to (Supreme Federal Court) to prevent the appointment of (PL) to.
Lindbergh wants governors to be held responsible if Eduardo name. He also asks Minister Alexandre de Moraes that the former president’s son (PL) is removed from his term in the House of Representatives.
The requests are in a petition given by the petista leader to Moraes. The motivation, according to Lindbergh, would reveal that the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Claudio Castro (PL), intends to appoint Eduardo to a special secretary of his government in the US.
The idea is to save the mandate of Federal Deputy of Eduardo. If you are appointed to a commissioned position, he will get a special license from the House to be out of the house without being revoked by absences.
“The disguised objective of this appointment is to ensure irregular financial support, simulate functional bond and allow the maintenance of its permanence abroad, even after the end of its parliamentary license and the judicial block of its assets and values,” said the PT leader in representation against Eduardo.
According to Lindbergh, the eventual appointment of Bolsonaro’s son would be a “direct affront to the public interest, national sovereignty and precautionary measures already imposed by the Brazilian Supreme Court.”
The PT leader uses the decision of the Supreme Court that suspended the appointment of Lula (PT) at the Dilma Government Civil House (PT) in 2016. The interpretation of the time was that the president was trying to appoint the co -religionist to avoid his arrest, constituting deviation of purpose.
“Although the applicant disagrees with the conclusion achieved in that specific case, he recognizes that the logic adopted by the Court applies, with even greater clarity and forcefulness, to the hypothesis now submitted to the assessment of this judgment,” said Lindbergh.
Eduardo Bolsonaro announced in March that he ordered a parliamentary term for license to be in the United States. The goal would be to get support from the government of Donald Trump to apply sanctions against Minister Alexandre de Moraes and other members of the Supreme.
The license, however, ended last Sunday (20). If Eduardo does not return to Brazil, he may lose his mandate if he has non -justified absences in one third of the House sessions in the year.
In the US, Bolsonaro has been talking to authorities to reinforce the White House and his allies the requests for sanction to Moraes ,. Eduardo had meetings at the headquarters of the American executive, at and with an ally near Donald Trump.
Eduardo’s performance in the United States is investigated by the Federal Police. The inquiry investigates possible practice of coercion crimes, obstruction of investigation and violent abolition of the democratic rule of law.
