The trailer and the first images of the miniseries “Pssica”, directed by Quico Meirelles and produced by Fernando Meirelles (“City of God”), which also signs the direction of an episode, were released on Tuesday (22).
The plot is centered on three characters whose lives are unexpectedly intertwined in the rivers of the Amazon. JANALICE, a young woman kidnapped by human trafficking, Preá, chief of a gang that acts on the rivers of the region, and Mariangel, who seeks revenge for the death of her family, try to survive the “Curse” who believe they have been released on them.
Production is based on the book of the same name of Ede Augusto and starring Domithila Catete, Lucas Galvino e Marleyda Soto. “PSSICA” has four episodes and arrives at Netflix on the day August 20.
