Entities such as the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) of São Paulo, the Prerogatives Group, the Vladimir Herzog Institute and the UNE (National Student Union) will participate this Friday (25) in Largo de São Francisco.
Also confirmed presence ABI (Brazilian Press Association), Arns Commission for the Defense of Human Rights, the Justice and Peace Commission of the Archdiocese of São Paulo, Forum of Union Centrals, Ibcrim (Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences) and Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science.
The motto are the threats of tariff and the announcement of revocation of visas to the US to STF ministers. The idea is also targets of the US government, as well as denouncing interference in Brazil’s internal affairs.
The idea of the organizers is to be inspired by a demonstration that occurred on site in August 2022, during the election campaign, in defense of democracy. At the time, there was a fear that Jair Bolsonaro’s reelection would represent an institutional rupture.
The act of now should not have the same dimension as the previous one, which has filled the courtyard of college and surroundings. The event, which will take place in the college’s noble hall, is thought of as a kick in the mobilization in defense of sovereignty.
