Συρία: Παρά την ένταση στην περιοχή των Δρούζων η εκεχειρία μπήκε σε ισχύ

With threats to intervention -aimed at their -if the destabilizing actions continue within it, commenting on the latest developments in southern Syria and suede.

Not in Syrian fragmentation says Fidan

Specifically, in his earlier statements, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan argued that “Turkey will intervene immediately to stop any Syrian fragmentation effort and prevent any fighters’ attempts to gain autonomy after clashes in southern Syria.”

Analysts, as well as international media, argue that Fidan’s warning of fragmentation, in comments to journalists in Ankara, is addressing Israel, as Turkey considers that this is Israel’s ultimate goal in Syria.

Turkey condemns Israeli policy

The Erdogan government has condemned Israeli attacks in Damascus last week as an attempt to sabotage the new government’s efforts to restore peace and security to the country and considers conflicts between the Beduenian fighters and tribes in the southern southern countryside.

Turkey, a NATO member, supports the new Syrian government and pressured for a truce between Bedouin and Drussian fighters.

Ankara also plays the “paper” of the Kurds

Fidan said Israel wants a divided Syria to make the country unstable and weaker and added that the YPG Kurdish fighters are trying to take advantage of chaos.

“With the will of God, we will prevent this policy from being implemented,” he said.

In a direct reference to the people’s protection units (YPG), he said that teams in Syria should not see this chaos as an opportunity to achieve autonomy or independence within Syria and that they are facing “a great strategic disaster”.

“This leads nowhere,” he said, adding: “We warn you: no team should be involved in acts that lead to division.”

As he said, many issues could be discussed through diplomacy “but if you go beyond that and seek fragmentation and destabilization, we will consider this immediate threat to our safety and intervene.”

Fidan said Turkey would support efforts to secure peace and stability in Syria and talks about it, but that it will not tolerate threats.
