The 26 -year -old was taken to the Lagoa Judicial Court.
A 26-year-old man was arrested in Lagoa, in the district of Faro, on Monday, for illegal permanence in Portugal, revealed the GNR coastal and border control unit (UCCF) in a statement.
According to the press release, the operation originated in an inspection action that aimed to “control the entry and permanence of foreign citizens in the national territory”
During the due diligence, the guardian military “approached a citizen and, during the action, it was possible to find out that it did not comply with the notification of voluntary abandonment of the country, within the established period.”
The detained individual was taken to the Judicial Court of Lagoa.
