Ceres Hadich, from the National Directorate of the MST, states that at the meeting with the president were addressed topics such as national sovereignty, the BRICS and the tariffs imposed by the government to Brazil.
“Within this, we were also treating themes that dialogue with the agrarian reform agenda, which is obviously a agenda that is not disconnected from this general context of struggle for sovereignty,” he said in a statement.
The acts are part of the peasant week which, this year, charges federal and state governments in four axes: creation of new settlements and effectiveness of existing existing, increase in the granting of rural credit, increased field education policies and the inclusion of land reform as part of the defense by national sovereignty.
