In the first semester, neoenergia net income reached R $ 2.6 billion, an increase of 36%. The robust result was impacted by the recognition of R $ 869 million in tax credits, from the exclusion of the PIS (Social Integration Program) Financial Update (Social Integration Program)/COFINS (Contribution to Social Security Financing) from the IRPJ Calculation Base (Legal Entities Income Tax) and CSLL (Social Contribution on Net Income). This increased the profit as it reduced the taxes to pay.

Injected energy

The energy placed in the network by the company grew 2.3% in the 2nd quarter of 2025 and 3.0% in the semester accumulated, compared to the same period of the previous year. According to a report from Neoenergia, the increase in demand for energy in the areas where the company operates, including systems with its own generation – as residential solar panels – boosted the result.

Controlled operating expenses

Operating costs grew 4%, both in the 2nd quarter of 2025 and in the semester, following inflation and market growth, which indicates good cost management, according to a report.

Adjusted EBITDA

The profit from interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization discount was R $ 2.6 billion in the 2nd quarter of 2025. 7% growth over the same quarter of 2024. In the semester, the adjusted EBITDA was R $ 5.4 billion. High of 2% compared to the 1st semester of 2024.

Investment

The concessionaire invested R $ 2.8 billion in the 2nd quarter of 2025, and R $ 1.7 billion only in distribution, which, according to neoenergia, strengthens the network infrastructure.

Advance in new transmission projects

The company partially delivered the projects Vale do Itajaí (SC) and Morro do Chapéu (BA), which generate RAP (permitted annual revenue) of R $ 132 million.
