The Verdelago Beach Club, in the middle of Costa Algarvia, premiered last summer with a support service to Praia Verdelago, bringing with it a set of news designed to redefine the summer experience in the levent. According to Expresso, the great attraction lies in the 26 (daybeds) with curtains, available for 100 euros, which join about 50 hat of splash with balls.
The beach presents with a preserved natural scenario, where low tide forms small pools of transparent water. Already in the wood building where the restaurant and the bar are, there is a terrace facing the sea, with a covered area and DJ in the late afternoon, and a dozen swings in the interior.
Summary Turning to the Sea, with prices to condition
According to the same source, the Carta do Verdelago Beach Club offers light and maritime dishes. Among the entrances are oysters, clams and linguirão, while main dishes include the “Muxama Salad” (14 euros), the “ceviche of the day” (29 euros), the “tuna bowl” (25 euros) and the “hot dog” (39 euros).
To share, a “marriscada” or the “curry of carbineiro” (60 euros) is proposed, as well as the rice of the lagoon or linguirão da Ria Formosa (36 euros), which can also be served with fish fillet of the day (70 euros).
The most elaborate dish of the menu is the “massada de fregola”, signed by chef Marco Alban, which brings together carabiners, clams and muxama, priced at 130 euros. The lightness of “octopus dreams” (12 euros) offers a more affordable alternative in a menu dominated by sea proposals and above average prices.
Between the pine forest and the sea, the expanding resort
Even by the beach, the green resort is raised, which develops phased over 86 hectares, between the ocean and the forest.
93 accommodation units are currently available, with prices ranging from 720 euros for a T1 to 1,323 euros for a three -bedroom townhouse with sea view. These properties are sold and subsequently integrated into the venture’s tourist return network.
The central area of the resort is the club, which includes pool, terraces and bar, in a large building with natural fiber pieces. There you can also find Salicornia, a Mediterranean kitchen restaurant that privileges ingredients of the Algarve, also under the direction of Marco Alban.
From then on the walkways that travel the entire resort and lead to the beach, crossing pine forests, protected areas and contemplation points.
A hidden hotel and a lake for birth
According to the most ambitious project of Verdelago is scheduled to open in 2027. It is a hotel with 197 bedrooms and Marriott flag, with bold and almost invisible architecture in the landscape, as the same source refers. Alongside the hotel unit, an artificial lake with seawater, a small beach and casualties for accommodation will be created.
In addition, Wellness Dome is inserted in Pinhal, offering massage services from 100 euros. The younger ones can explore the Kids Club, with environmental education activities and support from the Environmental Protection, Interpretation and Appreciation Center. In all, 37 hectares of the terrain are protected area.
