The French film star Gérard Depardieu is to be brought to court due to the will of the public prosecutor because of a suspected rape. The indictment had already applied for a lawsuit against Depardieu in the case of actress Charlotte Arnoild in 2024. Since new allegations against Depardieu had become known afterwards, the investigation had been rolled up again. The investigator decides whether there is a process.
