Lawyers argue that former president cannot be “punished” by acts of third parties; They ask Moraes to clarify precautionary decision limits
The defense of the former president (PL) sent this Thursday (22.Jul.2025) a demonstration to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, (Supreme Federal Court), in which he denies that the former chief executive has breached the precautionary measures that prohibit the use of social networks, directly or indirectly. The subpoena was motivated by videos released on social networks where Bolsonaro appears showing the electronic anklet and making statements to journalists. Lawyers claim that he cannot be “punished” by acts of third parties. According to the defense, the former president “He did not post, did not access his social networks or asked third parties to do so in his name”. Read the manifestation (PDF – 144 kb).
