Valdenis Antônio da Silva, known as Denizinho, 39, was shot dead on Friday night (18) in the community of Riachão, located in rural Bonito, in the Agreste de Pernambuco.

According to information gathered by UOL, the singer was on the back of a motorcycle, on his way to a tire change service when he was surprised by armed men who came from the middle of the bush. The criminals ordered the rider to stop the motorcycle and that the singer came off the vehicle. Then they fired several times against Denizinho, who could not resist the injuries and died at the scene before the arrival of medical help.
After the crime, the suspects fled and were not yet found by the police. The victim’s body was taken to the Caruaru Forensic Medical Institute (IML), also in Agreste, and veiled over the weekend.
In a statement to UOL, the Pernambuco Civil Police said they investigate the case. The 14th Caruaru Sectional Police Station registered the murder and established an inquiry to investigate the circumstances and identify those responsible for the crime.
