The original training program of its schools entitled “STEM in their element – discovering water, light and air through play and exploration”, organized during the winter school holidays, was successfully completed.
The program took place on July 7, 8 and 10 in three different locations, Huntingdale, Footscray and Balwyn North, and offered a special creative experience to children aged 4 to 10 years. Our little friends had the opportunity to experiment, explore natural phenomena and have fun learning, through the eyes of science and observation, always in an environment where the Greek language played a leading role.
Through experiments, the students were transformed into young scientists, discovering the properties of water, light and air with tools of imagination, collaboration and creation of cultural connections -from Tidalis, the frog of the Aboriginal Dreamtime, to the winds of Aeolos.
This initiative once again confirms the constant commitment of the Greek community of Melbourne to enhance the Greek learning of the children of the community and to provide innovative educational programs that combine knowledge with the joy of learning.
