The author Aguinaldo Silva gave some clues about what will be the tone adopted by “Three Graces”, a soap opera that will succeed “Vale Tudo” and mark his return to the prime time of TV Globo.
The man behind productions of the wingspan of “Lady of Destiny”, “Fina Estampa” and “Tieta” explained that her next soap opera will be “popular and comprehensive”, showing, at the same time, nasty stories of the Brazilian elite and the hard -working daily life.
“My idea, in ‘Three Graces’, is to make a popular and comprehensive soap opera, which speaks of people’s daily lives, who leaves at 5 am and takes three buses to go to work. And then you are penetrating this day to day and seeing that inside it has buildings, wonderful, and at the same time terrible stories of people who are supposed to be the elite of the country,” said Aguinaldo.
“I think the soap opera is an attempt to portray Brazil that is happening right now. It’s a current soap opera, the bus, the subway, the train.”

With, “Three Graces” will show the journey of Gerluce Maria das Graças (Sophie Charlotte). A resident of a fictional slum in São Paulo, she is part of a family of solo mothers: she is the daughter of Ligia Maria das Graças (Dira Paes) and mother of Joélly Maria das Graças (Alana Cabral). Raised by her mother, who became pregnant in her teens and was abandoned by her father, Gerluce faced a fate similar to her daughter’s arrival at the stage she was preparing to enter college. He abdicated his dreams to give Joélly a different life that had a promising future. But when early pregnancy of the third generation is confirmed, Gercuce will do everything to prevent her daughter from giving up her projects and ambitions, just as she and her mother have been forced to do.
“Gernuce is a woman who struggles not to lose hope. She has everything to conform to life, but does not conform, and this hope is not just hers, but the people around her. She thinks that everyone has the right to live better and need to fight for it. She wants a better life for her daughter, does not know how she will achieve it, but is her main goal,” says Aguinaldo.

In the house of the wicked Arminda (Grazi Massafera), for those who work as an elderly mother’s caregiver, Josefa (Arlete Salles), she discovers that the boss and her lover Santiago Ferette (Murilo Benício) lead a refurbishment scheme that impacts not only the health of her mother Ligia, but that of many people in the community where she lives. Also there, at the employer’s mansion, she finds a large amount of money kept inside a hidden statue.
Aguinaldo Silva writes “Three Graces” with Virgílio Silva and Zé Dassilva. The artistic direction will be with Luiz Henrique Rios and the production is by Gustavo Rebelo and Silvana Feu.
