The presenter Edu Guedes51, the fans told some of the hardest times he faced during the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
“I underwent four surgeries between comings and goings. It was about 15 days of hospitalization. But let’s look at the positive side: I was supposed to have been 30. So it was good,” Edu started in a video posted on YouTube.
“In the first surgeries, which went from the kidney, I would come home one day to recover and get strong. Before I went to another surgery, the doctor called me the night to know how I was and if I was prepared for the next,” he continued.
“Between the first surgery and the fourth, which perhaps was the most delicate, perhaps all this was important for me not thinking much about the problem I was living. Having other battles to pass, I always thought about next. I didn’t have much time to think about something bad,” he said.
He said, however, that from the third to the fourth surgery, which waited approximately five days, he went through very difficult times. “I had to always think positive things.”
“It was very complicated. I had a lot of pain during the initial 24 hours and I spent a few days in the ICU. When I started physical therapy outside the ICU, the first ones were difficult, even to breathe it was difficult, but it was exercise I had to do and had to live with that pain,” he said.
The presenter also praised the bride, Ana Hickmann, who all the time was sleeping “shrunken” in a chair, just to keep his arm beside him and feel his presence.
