Giro recovers stolen motorcycle after anonymous denunciation in Vila São Pedro

During routine patrolling on Tuesday night (22), the team of the rapid and ostensive intervention group (Giro) recovered a stolen motorcycle after receiving anonymous report in Vila São Pedro, in Cruzeiro do Sul (AC).

According to police, a resident of the community, fearing reprisals, approached the team and reported the presence of a motorcycle in a suspicious situation near the Vila Football Field. The garrison went to the informed site and, after searching, located a silver -colored Honda CG 160 Fan and QWM9B81 license plate thrown to the ground and without the ignition key. A black helmet was also found near the edge of a forest area.

After consultation with the system, the police confirmed that the motorcycle had been stolen on July 22 of a residence in Vila Santa Rosa. The vehicle was removed from the scene and sent to the General Police Station (DGP), where the legal procedures for restitution to the owner and investigation of the crime were started.

The Military Police reinforces the importance of the collaboration of the population through anonymous complaints. Information like this makes the difference and contributes directly to the strengthening of public safety in the region.
