According to the PGR, while in ABIN, Marcelo Bermevet worked in a “counterargument center”, using research tools, such as the “First” program, to spy on the former president’s “adversaries” and later pass on information to “propagation vectors on social networks (fake profiles and cooperated profiles)”.
When confronted about the prosecution, Bormevet stated that “coordination did not have access to the First Mile system.”

“I never had access to the system and my subordinates had no access. But Giancarlo had access to the system before I arrived at my coordination.”
He refers to the Army Warrant Officer Giancarlo Rodrigues, allocated to Abin and his direct subordinate. In the complaint, the PGR points out that Bormevet ordered Giancarlo, then its subordinate, to do research on possible targets. “The GCL user, used by Giancarlo, was directly responsible for 887 surveys in the First Mile system, as well as other possible accesses conducted through shared passwords,” accuses the Attorney.
PGR cites that Bormevet even guided the warrant officer to do research on an investigation that was investigating one of Bolsonaro’s children, Jair Renan, at the president’s own request at the time. “Bormevet informed Giancarlo at the time, which had urgent demand and asked him to research which cars are in the name of son Renan of Pr. See his mother too, claiming that it was MSG of 01,” said the complaint.

About the case, Bormevet confirmed that he received the request to do research by the Director-General of Abin, but denies that he has committed irregularities. He stressed that he did not keep in touch with former President Bolsonaro.
Disinformation
The PGR points out that Bormevet compiled a dossier with untrue information about the electronic ballot boxes and the ministers of the Supreme Court Luís Roberto Barroso and Luiz Fux, with the objective of discrediting them and the electoral process.
According to the complaint, Bormevet sent news that related Fux and an office of the family of Minister Luís Roberto Barroso to Banco Itaú and emphasized the shareholding of the bank in the positive company.

“Regardless of the origin of the information (I don’t know if the nephew is Barroso’s nephew), Bormevet advised how the ministers’ attack should be done: you can play in the crazy group if you want.”
In answering questions from the PGR, the federal police denied that it was related to the production of false news.
