According to him, it is necessary to achieve an immediate ceasefire and liberation of all hostages and ensure extensive humanitarian aid for the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, according to Macron, it is necessary to ensure the disarmament of the Palestinian militant Hamas movement and ensure the safety and restoration of the war -destroyed Gaza.

“Finally, we have to build a Palestinian state, ensure its viability and allow it to receive demilitarization and, through full recognition of Israel, to participate in the safety of everyone in the Middle East,” stressed Macron.
