Registration is open until August 3 for the “Health Communicators and Health Workshop”, focused on communication professionals linked to popular, community and traditional territories.
The training takes place online, with meetings between August 21 and 23, and will select 25 participants – one by region of the country.
During the program, communicators will have access to classes on science, health, environment, technology and sustainability to strengthen the coverage of these topics in popular vehicles. Participants will also be able to develop reports with mentoring from Fiocruz journalists. The selected productions will be published, and the authors will be paid.
People over 18 who work with journalism and content production in slums, peripheries or traditional communities, such as indigenous, quilombolas and riverside, can be registered. You need to have internet access and prove experience with reports or subjects.
The workshop has already formed 43 communicators in previous editions. All participants will receive a certificate of completion. The organization encourages the participation of women, black people, with disabilities and the LGBTQIAPN+community.
