Η Google αποζημιώνει Αργεντίνο γιατί τον φωτογράφησε γυμνό το Street View

An Argentine will be compensated by Google because the street view mapping has photographed him with an Adamic Enclosure in the inner courtyard of his home.

The man, who is also a police officer, appealed to a local court and was justified. As he said, he felt humiliated when he was released on social media websites and a photo of him, taken in 2017 by the American Giant’s Mapping Service in a television channel.

His face, which is usually cloudy in these photos, did not seem because they had pulled him back. But his home was recognizable, and this made him a goal of teasing by his neighbors and colleagues in the village of Bragado, a community 210 kilometers from Buenos Aires.

The company made a defensive argument that the wall of the courtyard was “very low” and the standing “did not preserve its privacy”. At first instance, one judge ruled last year that the man was responsible for the situation created because he was “wandering around in the garden of his home”.

The Court of Appeal, however, justified him, judging that the 2 -meter -high wall was quite tall and that the company “invaded” its privacy “affecting its dignity”.

“No one wants to appear in the eyes of the world as God gave birth,” the decision said.

Google Argentina and Google Inc. They were convicted of paying him 16 million pesos, that is, about 11,000 euros, as compensation.

The Court acquitted the telecommunications company Cablevision SA and the El Censor informative website, which were co -defendant in the case because they published the photo, judging that their actions contributed to prove Google’s mistake.
