Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice interrogated by the US Justice

Ghislaine Maxwell is currently in a 20 -year sentence for sexual trafficking, the same crime by which Epstein was accused in New York, where he would die while awaiting trial

Jeffrey Epstein’s former partner and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, answered on Thursday to all questions asked by the Assistant Attorney General of the United States, in a “very productive” interrogation in Florida, his lawyer said.

“We had a very productive day with deputy attorney-general Todd Blanche and Ghislaine Maxwell,” lawyer David Oscar Markus told the Federal Court in Tallahasee, Florida.

Maxwell, 63, currently is currently a 20 -year sentence for sexual trafficking, the same crime that Epstein was accused in New York, where he would die while awaiting trial.

David Oscar Markus assured the press that Maxwell answered all the questions asked by Blanche and “never invoked a right” not to answer.

“She answered all questions with sincerity, honesty and the best possible way,” he said.

Maxwell was convicted of helping the millionaire sexually abuse minor girls and now complies with a long penalty.

Confirmation by the Federal Department of Investigation (FBI) and the Justice Department (DOJ) earlier this month that there was no evidence of an “customer list” blackmailed by Epstein, and that the death of the pedophile in a federal prison in 2019 resulted from suicide, led to an unexpected crisis among members of the Maga Movement (“Make America Great Again”, ” Trump.

Under pressure from conspiracy segments of his political base to disclose more information about the Epstein case, a sexual criminal with whom he maintained close relations for decades, Trump denied knowledge or involvement in Epstein’s crimes and said he ended friendship for years.

Maxwell’s interrogation was one of the measures announced by the DOJ to try to contain criticism, which extend to republican sectors, including congressmen.

On Thursday, The Wall Street Journal published that Trump was informed in May by DOJ officials that his name appears “several times” in the files of the case against pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

At the “Routine Informative Meeting”, where this was not the central theme, Bondi and their team will have informed Trump that the files contained what they considered “unlinked rumors about many people, including Trump, who had contact with Epstein in the past,” says the newspaper.

According to the Wall Street Journal, one of the sources with knowledge of the documents said they “include hundreds of other names.”

Trump, who has been under pressure from his supporters to fulfill his promise to publicize all the information about the case, denied last week that he had been informed about the presence of his name in the files.

The White House today classified as “False News” the advanced information also by CNN and The New York Times.

“This is another false story, just like the previous one published by The Wall Street Journal,” Cheung said, referring to the letter with “obscene” content that Trump will have sent to Epstein when both had a friendship, and was published last week by the same newspaper.

According to the newspaper, it was Ghislaine Maxwell who collected letters from Trump and other Epstein partners to include them in an album as a gift.

Trump sued WSJ, News Corp, a group that includes the newspaper, and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, for publicizing the alleged letter to Epstein.

NewsCorp’s reference newspaper has stated that it will “defend itself vigorously” against the US president.

“We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our information,” said a spokesman for the WSJ owner group.
