The, linked to, opened registrations for the course “Digital Security for Journalists in Crisis Times”.
Participants will learn how to use encryption tools to protect files, activate secure password devices, and configure authentication on two factors, among other topics.
Divided into four modules, the course is designed for press professionals without previous cyber security experience and can be done by anyone interested in protecting themselves on the internet.
Classes are online, in English, and last four weeks. The content will be available from July 7 to August 3 and can be accessed asynchronously, according to the students’ schedule. Activities include video lessons, readings, discussions and questionnaires.
