The rescue helicopter from Košice was sent on Friday afternoon to a serious traffic accident, which happened behind the village Rozanovce (district Košice-okolie). The passenger car was witnessed in the ditch, outside the road. There were two people on the spot. Unfortunately, one showed no signs of life.
The second passenger, a 19-year-old man was unconscious, suffered serious injuries to several parts of the body. After liberation by firefighters, the rescuers immediately took care. After providing urgent health care, the patient was on artificial lung ventilation, with the diagnosis of polytrauma, in a critical condition by air transferred to the University Hospital L. Pasteur in Košice.
