In London, a man was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after being identified as the author of various thefts in city bars with an unusual method: he used his feet to steal backpacks.
Sid rebels, the perpetrator of the crimes, was caught by video surveillance cameras to perform thefts in an ingenious way. In one of the videos now released, the suspect is being pretending to speak to the mobile phone, while discreetly uses his feet to pull backpacks under the tables, without lifting suspicions among the customers of the establishments.
Rebii admitted the authorship of six thefts, all that occurred in bars of the British capital, and was eventually convicted by the authorities.
A prolific bag thief has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
Sid Rebai, 36, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to six counts of theft in the City.
He was also handed a Criminal Behaviour Order banning him from entering the Square Mile for six years.
