A 26 man died on Friday after he felt bad when he went swimming with a friend, on the Minho River, near the nautical club of Lady of Head, in Valença, said the captain of the port of Caminha.
Contacted by Lusa agency, Francisco Vieira Pereira explained that the deadly victim felt bad, asked her friend to follow him, but it was a recreation vessel that was passing in the area of Valença, Viana do Castelo district, which ended up collecting the two colleagues.
The victim, in serious condition, was transported to the basic emergency service (sub) of monsoon where the death was declared.
The warning was given at 19:27.
