5 -year -old boy dies after triggered shotgun accidentally in Tarauacá

A tragedy shook residents of rural Tarauacá, in the interior of Acre, last Thursday (24). A 5 -year -old boy, identified as David, died after accidentally triggered a shotgun while playing at home.

According to preliminary information, the child was alone in a room when he found the family weapon, which belonged to the family. The shot hit the boy, who could not resist his injuries.

The case generated great commotion in the community and social networks, where netizens were divided between messages of regret and criticism of the storage of the weapon. Family and acquaintances came out in defense of the child’s parents, stating that the incident was a tragic accident and that the pain of loss is immeasurable.
