O Project comes in response to the club’s crisis and intends to be prepared to help Boavista return to the first league.

The Black Panthers FC was this Friday founded by Boavista supporters who oppose the current direction and will have Nuno Fonseca, leader of the cheerleader, as president, as well as other known figures of the ‘axadrity’ universe in social bodies.

In Porto, near the Bessa Stadium, the headquarters of the Black Pantras Clear, the social agencies took office and was made known to the sports project of this newly formed set, which, according to the founders, aims to “serve Boavista”, not presenting itself as a competing club.

“We began to realize that there are clear signs that Boavista FC has the days counted. This strategy aims to create a sports project that can serve Boavista tomorrow, there is no interest in detachment. When the club has a direction with the ability to develop its sports project, whether we have a way that can serve so that Boavista finds a space again,” Pedro Cortez, ” Vice-President, on the sidelines of the inauguration.

Pedro Cortez had been a mandate of the candidacy of Filipe Miranda to the presidency of Bessa’s historic emblem board, in the last January elections, with the former candidate, who lost the dispute to Rui Garrido Pereira, to assume the position of sports director of this new emblem.

The historic Boavister leader Álvaro Braga Júnior, former president of the club (2008-2012) and SAD (2008-2020), presented himself as chairman of the General Assembly, highlighting the role that the Black Pantras cheerleader played during the destinations of Boavista.

“When I was forced to be president of the SAD board and board of directors, no boavister came forward because it was difficult. And that’s when I felt all the support of black panthers. I wouldn’t feel good if I wasn’t here supporting. Some say that this club will go to Boavista and very briefly all will realize why I say this,” said Álvaro Braga Júnior.

The leader of the organized group of adherents and president of Panthers Black FC, Nuno Fonseca, better known as Sousa, expressed having realized a dream with the realization of this project, which says it represents a “new paradigm in world football”.

“Boavista, unfortunately, will need the black panthers at the hardest time in their history. I won’t lengthen because tomorrow [sábado] We have the Boavista General Assembly and we will probably clean the house. The Black Panthers FC is composed of elements that have been in the cheerleader since its foundation, men who, in 1984, struggled a lot for the generations that were appearing also continued, “he said.

In addition, it ensures that the club formed by supporters, which will only have a senior soccer team, will deconstruct prejudices that they consider to exist in relation to the cheerleaders.

“Let’s prove that a cheerleader is much more than a group of marginals. People who are badly seen, which are excluded from society, connoted with everything that is harm in it, will prove from today that the ‘Ultra’ movement is much more than it is said,” he said.

The coach chosen to take command of the squad is Milton Ribeiro, 43, which has an extensive route in the district championships of Porto and the climb of Canelas 2010 to the Portuguese Championship, in 2018/19, in the curriculum.

In the last echelon of the district of Porto

Panteras Negras Footballers Club is expected to play in the last level of the Porto Football Association, the same as the Boavista Club, while SAD do Boavista will have a team in the main district division.

Depleted after closing the 2024/25 edition of the 18th and last place, with 24 points, Boavista completed a 11 -time journey in the main level, being one of the five national champions in history.
